Be wary about this company. My belief after having participated in this organization is that this online education program is frequently leveraged as a straw man for an extremely aggressive sales agenda. Since I am actually a subscriber, I find the classes to be good on the whole and that the program can be a good fit for the right person. But beware. The courses are really not enough to turn you into an expert on anything, and will not likely make you financially free. You may well be told this kind of thing to make a sale, but no one has any responsibility to you once you buy. Instead, you may just be being lured into again, a very aggressive sales scheme that does not particularly have your interests in mind.

My renatus experience was limited. I invest in real estate and am knowledgable about all aspects.

I went to a meeting with a friend and we have gone to several "seminars" out of curiosity. The clientele was the same as most. Some desperate people, some get rich with little work people, and some clueless people. The initial presentation was the same as most.

They make tell people what they want to hear with few details. They make it all sound easy. They are looking for "people like you". I found thepresentation boring after a short time.

I did my usual survey and noted the crowd was eating it up. Sad. Most of what they teach is on the Internet and most is common sense. The program costs?

More than I have ever seen. Don't buy this program and there isn't a magic bullet to investing.

The best real estate course ever

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We experienced the best real estate courses in Nouveau Riche. We did successful real estate short sale deals and we applied the knowledge of managing our rental properties. I think the people who complained here are mostly not successful themselves just because they are either lazy, *** or not following what they have learned. We talked to a lot of students and they have success from taking these courses and they are making a lot of money either, buy and sell, shortsale, etc. Even the best college out there have hard-working students with good grades and lazy and *** students with poor grades.

I so agree

Be wary of all the hype.. . I remember the bus loads of people descending on Atlanta during Nouveau Riche. . . if Bob Snyder was so honest, how come he exposed us to such a blatant lie as Bobby Blair. . . any normal person could see he did not have the staff to do what he was promising to do. . . and now we are supposed to believe Bob Snyder is ok? Hummm. . . be cautious and I agree you could get most of the books out of the library for free. . . and do things without the hype so they are sound decisions

RUN as fast as your legs will take you.

Nouveau Riche (University) was founded by Jim and Mary Piccolo in 2000 with co-founder Bob Snyder. I paid $16,000. for classes and soon after that the company was sued and I believe went bankrupt shortly after that. The partners broke up and went to different states and started everything all over again. Renatus is just Bob Snyder trying it again. They make a *** load of money (millions) in just a few years then run into trouble and fold. Should you trust this company, NO. It's pay for the product and you are on your own. If you think this company will last, you are sadly mistaken. It's all about the money and NOT THE PEOPLE.

Nouveau Riche was launched on Dec 13th (Friday) 2002 and if you paid $16,000 for schooling (Like I did-2 times) you had plenty of time until 2006 to attend in either Scottsdale or Hawaii like I did. And did I mention my wife and I were a huge success buying 86 houses and making millions with no previous training or experience, only a desire to be a success.

We met lots of people that expected to not work or get trained and wasted their money.

If you don't show up or use what you learn, who is to blame?

Nouveau Riche - Review in Education category from Mesa, Arizona

Although nouveau riche was less than perfect they gave me the start and introduction to some very heavy hitters and success achievers in the rea estate industry. When nouveau riche came upon hard times and closed their doors due primarily to mismanagement of funds, Bob Snyder new that people not only deserved what they had previously paid for, but deserved an opportunity to acheive a level of success that could be acheived only through real estate investments.

At great personal and financial risk he founded Renatus (primarily an online business and real estate educational company). Renatus has never nor will ever be connected to or with nouveau riche. Saying they are would be like saying that Harvard and universty of arizona are the same or connected. Nouveau riche no longer exists primarily due to mismanagement of funds of which Bob Snyder (the general as he was affectionately refered to) had no knowledge.

He was a figure head only and not involved in the opporations of the company. Renatus provides a platform in which people can learn and grow at their own pace.as far as the cost the investment for business or real estate education is pennies in comparison to what other educational facilities teach in which they show you how to land that job that through your labors will make someone else rich to then find out that your education is obsolete and to keep your position in your job you will need to go back to college. This process continues throughout your lifetime many times over. At retirement (if you even have one) you receive less than enough money to live the lifestyle that you thought you sacraficed all those years for.

(Sounds like something is upside-down) about that system. Renatus allows you to escape that rat race by providing you a way to through education in the proven most lucrative and safe investment in the country (self and real estate). Oh by the way way the education is lifetime (meaning you pay once and get the updated information for the lifetime ).

Ive never heard of anywhere else that is available. I highly recommend Renatus education.

You sir/madam, are an ***. Google Bob Snyder and see the numerous scams he is, and has been, involved in.

Many of those jokers he has as his mentors/educators/etc are the same cronies that are in on all of his scams. Nouveau Riche=Renatus!!!

Noveau Riche means new rich in French. After being put to pasture over their swindling they though it clever to make a comeback and throw it in the faces of those whose lives they destroyed.

The new name, "Renatus", which means born again. Anyone can just look up the more prominent individuals now associated with Renatus and they are exactly the same people that were associated with Noveau Riche...

precisely the SAME people. I feel sorry for all those people they drag in and act like they're part of "the cool kids" (quoting a founder) but they laugh their clique into hysteria over how "easy it is to get stupid people to think they are buying an education".

Lied about future of Company

Renatus has a great deal of major players that founded & developed Nouveau Riche. Bob "The General" Snyder 2nd in command flew around in a corporate jet hawking that real estate college that is now defunct. They promoted a campus they were building that never happened & now I see some of the same instructors on Youtube for Renatus that were with Nouveau Riche. Here's the founder of Nouveau Riche & a few of the major players now ordered to pay $6 million in restitution. http://www.unhappyfranchisee.com/bizzibiz-franchise-jim-piccolo-fraud/ Piccolo is a real winner. Piccolo ran into more trouble when he pleaded guilty to the theft of his girlfriend's new Mercedes-Benz. Although he denies responsibility now, Piccolo admitted to the court that he had dumped the car in the desert so that his girlfriend could collect an insurance claim of about $24,000. After three years probation, his felony conviction was reduced to a misdemeanor. One of their top hawkers Andrew Yurasek was having multiple properties going to tax auction in South Bend IN. while promoting that real estate college. Steer clear of these people.

I was one of the so called Regional V.P.'s. I too would recommend to anyone that is considering dealing with these people to stay away.

You will lose not only your money, but your family, your relationships, and all that is dear to you. I had friends once in this organization, some are divorced, some are dead, some have lost their children, and very few made any money to speak of. Peoples lives changed, but not for the better. Jim P is a master at getting people to do his dirty work.

This man is someone I would stay very very far away from. He jumped in my face one time and threatened me, physically in my face. I saw everything first hand. I know the dirty little secrets.

Now that Trump University is settling, perhaps its our time to get our $30,000.00 back for that so called Territory that some of us bought, not to mention the other $18,000.00 for the university/education that never came about. All a bunch of horse...you know what. Don't deal with these people. It's all a big sale's pitch.

Bob even tells you, its not about the real estate, its about selling the real estate education. NICE! Bob himself said in my presence, that the company needed to go to the very edge of the law and be borderline breaking the law in order to have success. I was there, I heard it first hand.

They know what they're doing. Be careful!!

Not sure why this form

Of education/marketing system seems to attracted people so much when you can just go for a fraction of the cost, a few books, some study time, and a test, to get a state Realty license and practice professionally and make better money?!

Guest

Nouveau Riche became defunct not because of Bob Snyder. I've met him several times and been a part of his follow-up company Renatus for about a year now.

I've never experienced a more humble leader and owner. His real estate courses and affiliate income opportunity have given thousands of people a way and path to become a successful investor and business owner. The instructors like Mark Kohler are some of the best in their respective fields. He is a 4X author, radio show host, and top CPA/tax attorney's in the whole country.

Renatus is actually one of the best chances for a college or non-college grad to start a small business and have the support in place to execute deals. Yes, Nouveau had some problems, but time has shown this is an honest, integrity driven-business with great, diverse people working towards financial freedom.

Guest

I agree. If you have a complaint of Bob Snyder or Renatus, you haven't done the research to find out what can really happen if you work hard and don't try to blame someone else for you *** mistakes. Renatus education is based on helping other not to make those *** mistakes.

TO NO EXCUSES-Sounds like an awful mindset and a horrible way to treat people. You don't sound like much of a positive influence, leader, or mentor. You shouldn't even be working for the company, your existence makes it look even worse. You are a selfish, arrogant, individual that needs to gain a little empathy in life. Who are you to go tell people to jump off a bridge if they don't want to participate in a pyramid scheme. You, terrible man, are the lowest of the lows.

It's a sad reality, readers. This man "NO EXCUSES" happens to be at the near top of the pyramid scheme due to his previous involvement with Nouveau Riche which closed IN THE END OF DECEMBER 2010 DUE TO A JUDGEMENT BY THE ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION FOR $5 MILLION DOLLARS IN DEFRAUDING INVESTORS. The only reason why these people are succeeding so much with Renatus is because they were were affiliated with Nouveau Richie and were given an "invitation" to join the new "Renatus" group and begin to market, AGAIN. No cost.

Now, there is no reason to dislike the act of real estate investing. REI happens to be a really profitable avenue to make money. However, THROUGH THIS BUSINESS (RENATUS) DIFFERENT LEVELS GET PAID FOR YOUR "PERSONAL INVESTMENT". Where most of the business kingpins are getting money, is from the poor. The poor are more inclined to believe in something that gives them money. All of the bells and whistles entice and draw in. The foolers fool the rich fools who then fool middle class fools. ONCE SIGNING ON WITH THE MARKETING ASPECT OF RENATUS YOU WILL BE TIED INTO A DEAL THAT CREATES A POTENTIALLY LONG STANDING DEBT (depending on your income and the interest rate of your loans). So on and so forth. But to be successful in Real Estate investing, you need a chunk of cash to get you started. Taking out an interest loan and simply riding on that is enough to put you in the whole and give money to those above you. YOU WILL BE IN *** IF YOU START OUT BY RIDING ON THE WINGS OF CORPERATE INVESTORS; THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. Now, I guess what this all boils down to, is ARE YOU READY TO SWINDLE PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE UP WHAT YOU GOT SWINDLED OUT OF.

And that, my friends, is what you call a pyramid scheme. Do the research for yourself, it's all there. It's concealed, but it's there. Bob Snyder has two fraud strikes against him. BOB SNYDER HAS BEEN IN THE PYRAMID SCHEME/MLM GAME FOR SO LONG, HE KNOWS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING IT TAKES TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE IN A SCHEME. HES MADE THE MISTAKES, HE HAS SEEN WHAT MAKES PEOPLE TICK AND HAVE DISBELIEF. HE KNOWS HOW TO TRAIN PEOPLE TO MAKE OTHERS FEEL ASSURED AND SAFE.

THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO GO ABOUT REAL ESTATE INVESTING AND YOU DO NOT NEED A $2,000-$20,000 COURSE TO TEACH YOU. YOU REALLY NEED DRIVE, DETERMINATION, WILL, TENACITY, AND DILIGENCE. YOU CAN LEARN THE SAME MATERIAL IN A REAL ESTATE COURSE FOR $350 ONLINE AND THE REST FOR FREE. THINK ABOUT THIS HERE.....

NOT EVERYONE CAN SUCCEED AT THIS, SOME ARE NOT MADE FOR REAL ESTATE AND BUSINESS OWNERSHIP AT ALL. NOT EVERYONE IS PROMISED SUCCESS AT RENATUS, YOU NEED TO HAVE A MIND FOR IT IN ORDER TO MAKE IT WORTHWHILE. Here are some informational links: HOW TO RECOGNIZE A PYRAMID SCHEME: http://pyramidschemealert.org/new-video-shows-how-to-recognize-mlm-pyramid-schemes/ BROKEN PROMISES OF Nouveau Riche and BOB SNYDER and how they made a bunch of money: http://money.cnn.com/2007/08/06/magazines/fsb/real_estate.fsb/ AFTER NOUVEAU RICHE BROKE WHERE THE FOUNDERS WENT (READ REVIEWS): http://blackboxsocialmedia.com/is-nouveau-riche-closing-down/

Renatus is alive and well. No consumers were hurt by the dissolution of Nouveau Riche.

All promised classes were delivered despite the failure to build a permanent campus in Arizona.

Students from Nouveau Riche may get their status back and continue their classes or distributor status if they desire. The company website is Http://www.myrenatus.com.

You Must have not been around in the early days as I was! Many lost everything on a dream and a promise.

It saddens my heart to see how many paid every thing they had for what they promised. At that time the education was good, but i now I see the hype that was created and still is.

How do I know this, I know most of these people that still are in this company. I wouldn't trust any of them further than I could throw them!

I never saw anyone lose anything on a dream or a promise, I lost some money on real estate because I did some *** things in 2007, Since then I have made hundreds of thousands because I followed the teachings of Renatus and their seasoned instructors. One thing I have found is that most of the people that have complained on this site either haven't bought the program or didn't do as instructed by the practitioners who teach. Then they look fo find someone to blame.

Guest

I have to say the complaints I've seen online about Renatus are based on inaccurate information. The complaint above is based on info about Jim Piccolo and Nouveau Riche. The information being complained about has nothing to do with Renatus.

I was introduced to Renatus by someone who had no experience in real estate investing prior to getting educated by Renatus and their instructors. Since then he has created great success in his real estate business. After seeing what he was able to do after getting educated with Renatus I decided to buy the full education package from Renatus and I don't regret it one bit.

After putting some real time and effort into learning the content with in the Renatus education I am now partnering on several real estate deals with other members of the Renatus community. Using what I learned about business ownership, tax strategies and retirement accounts I have also started 2 other cash flowing businesses. One of which includes my 12 year old son. Because of what I learned with Renatus I have been able to help my son earn income and invest in his own retirement plan much earlier in life than most Americans do. This will put him in a much better position than most college graduates in their early twenties.

What really makes the difference for Renatus is the community of investors thet Renatus promotes all around the country. I have been able to meet investors from all over the country that I have been able to learn from, bounce ideas off of and be inspired by. While an individual could research the info Renatus teaches and do their own networking, build their own relationships with other investors and do all the things Renatus offers on their own the problem is most people wont. Most people don't have any idea where to start. They don't have the time it takes to go search for all the information they need to become a successful real estate investor. Nor do they have the time to go out and build the network they need to successfully invest. What Renatus has done is it brought much of that information together into one education package. Renatus has created it's own network of investors from all over the country that members have access to. So an individual can speed up the process greatly.

Bottom line...It's about working smarter not harder. Any smart business person wants to speed up their learning curve and speed up their earning curve. After going through the Renatus education over several months, I have been able to educate and inform other investors who have been in the industry 20 plus years.

The Renatus education is solid information that works. The price of the education is not just an expense. It is an investment in yourself and your business. It can be a business write off and ultimately is well worth the investment if you utilize the information.

To judge an opportunity based on someone else's experience or lack of experience is just bad business. If you want to be successful in anything attach yourself to those who have been successful before you and learn from them then put that knowledge into action!

Renatus

This used to be Nouveau Riche. I think they changed it because the posse was closing in.

This "school" is a major ripoff...they suck you in with huge costs for classes only to find out YOU NEED TO BUY MORE CLASSES...I bought the basic Essentials course and while it has a lot of info most of it can be found in a library for free....some of the videos run well and some are not so good......it's all about MLM and you should stay away. Even after buying in at basic level the "Founders" ignore you unless you continue to buy more or bring other suckers in. Some students do well in R.E. but considering the thousands they drag through the mill it is probably equal to the general population % as a whole.

Many of the instructors are successful but you find they were so before they became involved with Renatus. RUN AWAY!

MLM Scam. You can find the same information online, research, YouTube, REITs, Real Estate agents.

Give up 20k$ to buy your way into their “network.” The ones on top gain commission from those below. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.

Go online and do research: topics including - zoning, population growth, real estate contract, development, business loans.

SCAM

$20K would earn THREE Associates Degrees. You don't even get a license for the $20K dumped on Renatus.

One big giant sham. Fancy parties and such are meant to lure in the lonely and downtrodden and it WORKS.

The founders keep raking in big $ and the fools who sign into this keep pouring more and more money into it. It can be a beneficial thing if used as a network but one doesn't need to drop $20 large on networking.

Guest

I've only given it a cursory look, so far, but can already tell you didn't put ANY effort in, if you haven't recouped in the first year at least 3x what you paid. The strategies in the essentials are enough to pay for the FULL membership....*when they are put into use*.

Even a regular old w-2 employee can save more than the cost of the program without doing anything in real estate, just from the tax class!

I've looked at (been dragged to) many MLM presentations. This is only a distant relative. Depth is not unlimited, and revenue is not recurring. This is PRODUCT driven, and that is what any good MLM that lasts focus's on.

This is all about the *education*.

And way.....WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY...cheaper than other coaching programs, and with lifetime membership and support.

I'm gonna join. You should come back and talk to me.

Really????? This is a rip off if you don't do anything.

Calculus information is in the Library too... I didn't learn it by reading the book.

Additional classes? There are only 3 curriculums...

Essentials ( which you enrolled in AND NEVER ATTENDED) AIT which includes 2 majors and the Combo package which includes everything! There are no more classes ... You are a liar.

Finally... Absorbent costs?

Really? What does a Semester at the local community college cost? $3000. Buck?

At Renatus I got a full year for $1997.

Why are you propetuating this GIANT lie?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1110272

It cost my girlfriend $20,000, they keep asking for more money in the form of links to companies, they keep charging fees.

"You can sell education" $20,000 for each person that you introduce into the program, after the 3 referrals you start earning $10k for each one...like a pyramid scheme. You are supposed to learn about flipping homes!

or fix and flip

I saw it first hand, I went to the first class many times....they sell you a dream, a dream only attainable if you have knowledge and for that knowledge you must pay $20k!!!

I also went to Lee Arnold program.

At least they take less, they are really private funders, and they return your investment after the third flip. THEY TEACH YOU THE BUSINESS...they do!

RENATUS IS a SCAM....
